Golf Trip Planning Tips

Book Early, Save Big

Most resort courses offer early-bird pricing 60-90 days out. Bundled stay-and-play packages can save 20-30% vs. booking separately.

Shoulder Season Sweet Spot

The best value is always spring and fall — lower rates, fewer crowds, and often the best playing conditions. Avoid peak summer at hot-weather destinations.

The 36-Hole Rule

Plan one 36-hole day, max. Your body (and game) will thank you. Use the extra time for the driving range, exploring town, or a well-earned nap.

Travel Insurance Matters

For trips over $1,000/person, travel insurance is worth it. Weather cancellations, injury, or flight issues can tank a trip. A $50 policy beats eating $2,000.
